Vivien Leigh and Conrad Veidt in The Thief of Bagdad

This unusual montage was created by me. I wanted to illustrate how would have looked The Thief of Bagdad if Vivien Leigh had gotten the part of the Princess. Alexander Korda’s masterpiece was made in 1939, when Vivien was filming Gone With the Wind. She turned down the offer of the British studios at the last moment, and was replaced by June Duprez.
